England have advanced to the final 4 of the Rugby World Cup courtesy of an impressive and commanding 40-16 victory over Australia last Saturday.

The Wallabies won 3 of their 4 Pool matches to advance to the quarters, while England were undefeated in their Pool, scoring 3 wins from their first 3 games before their fourth match against France was abandoned due to Typhoon Hagibis and declared a draw.

Against the Wallabies, England lead 17-9 at halftime, before scoring 23 points to 7 in the second half, against an Australian outfit who had spent all tournament dominating their opponents in the second half. It was England’s best performance of the World Cup thus far.

New Zealand reached the semi-final about absolutely dominating Ireland in the quarter final on Saturday.

The All Blacks racked up a 46-14 win after a near perfect opening half where they lead 22-0.

After a tough opening game against South Africa, which the All Blacks won 23-13, they then had big comfortable wins over Canada and Namibia before their final match against Italy was abandoned and declared a draw, also due to Typhoon Hagibis.
