Paul McGregor is in the coaches hot seat and desperate for his St George-Illawarra Dragons to take the chocolates on Sunday afternoon. When you look down their backline, it’s difficult to get too excited about the Red V piling up the points. The Wests Tigers, on the other hand, have added Joey Leilua to the centres and paired him with his brother, Luciano. The pair are rocks and diamonds on their own, but Benji Marshall will get the very best out of them on Wests right side.

The Dragons’ strength is in the middle. Paul Vaughan and James Graham will get them up the field while Blake Lawrie and Trent Merrin further bolster the centre-third. It’s scoring points on the back of it that looks to be the issue. Despite playing at home, integrating Issac Luke and Zac Lomax into the spine is a concern. Neither side is particularly trustworthy. Wests carry the better form into 2020, though.
