With a prime time feature, spots for the top eight hotly contested and a chance to cement themselves on the right side of the divide – Fremantle needs to make the most of Thursday night’s game against the Cats.

Having beaten Hawthorn by 62 points last week in Tassie the Dockers now sit 7th on the AFL ladder.

Third-placed Geelong have won eight of their past nine, although they appeared to be going through the motions against Carlton last week and some Cats games can be a bit of a snooze fest at times (Note to Chris Scott: If you didn’t play such boring football you wouldn’t want the game shortened.)

A good team can win in good, bad or ugly or ugly fashion and the Cats can do all three in a quarter at times.

I’m expecting a low-scoring slog here, so I will back the Cats to cover the line and the under in this one.
